Sven's birthday went very well! The kids and I were really excited about giving him his gift. We worked on it since before Christmas. It is a chess set if you are having trouble figuring it out. One side is the tropical side and represents some of Sven's favorite things and the pawns are coconuts, not bowling balls. The other side is the winter side and it represents some family inside jokes and loves (with snowball pawns). Sven reacted like we expected. He absolutely loved it and Hyrum wanted to be the first to Vs. Dad on the new set. We also had Sven visit "Alaska". We had Caribou kabobs (that turned into jerky), Eskimo pies, and a fish shaped birthday cake. We also played pin the seal to the killer whale.
